AHH. The joys of cleaning.

1. AHH. I hope we all had a great Christmas. :) Mine was pretty average.. but still good enough to enjoy the day. :)
2. Went to the beloved Greenhills yesterday and was annoyed at the fact I saw a lot of people. I hate seeing people at Greenhills. It annoys me. The people I see are either the sluts in Year 9, or the people that suck crap and have nothing better to do than to go to Greenhills and think they are superior and popular by going to Greenhills to shop for clothes that make them look like sluts. But while I was there I was looking at the cutest Hello Kitty calendar and the coolest ballet calendar and aasked if I was allowed to purchase either one of them, but failed miserably. :(
3. I'm so bored and wish it was school time already so we can do the things we love! (For me this would be Extension Maths 1, Music 2, and socialising with the friends I miss so dearly... and EAT!)
4. Speaking of being bored, I have nothing better to do with my time at home than to watch the cricket, the Boxing Day test match broadcasted live from the MCG from 10:30am till around 6:00p.m, which people might think is quite boring, but it is not. It is actually quite intriguing and more exciting than what I've got to do in my house for the next 3 or 4 weeks before school starts back.
5. And finally, the events that occurred today: woke up around 10:15am, had peanut butter sandwiches with a glass of soy milk :), watched the cricket for about 5 hours, folded some clothes retrieved from the awesome dryer that makes the clothes smell good. :), cleaned and dusted and wiped my whole trophy display thing, which took about an hour and a half, had the bestest dinner which includes RICE :), eel, egg, snow peas, ham, green leafy vegetables, MUSHROOMS!!!! :) and more meat with black bean sauce. YUM!!! :)

well its actually 3:14 am now, but i'm quite irritated. Due to my resent illness (just a cold, or flu, or something like that) my sleeping patterns have been completely disturbed. Now i would not mind that if i didnt have to go anywhere during the day, and if i could play the piano at night. But due to current living arrangments, neither of these are practical or possible. So instead of lying in bed for hours wondering when my eyes are going to shut for a good couple of hours, i'm online. I have just been posting my artwork on my deviantART page, i was that bored i was bothered to scan about 10 of them into my computer. I've also been listening constantly to Ben Folds "University Acapella" album. I've downloaded 18 different songs (sheet music), but as said before, i can not possibly learn any of them.

I don't even know why i'm bothering to type this blog, because if you havn't noticed, i'm not a fanatic blogger. So clearly, i have nothing else to do. Its now 3:19. I'm so glad it is not two hours earlier.

Also, i was thinking. I was just on Steffies dream blog (its excellent by the way) and i posted two comments, i think. But, to post said comments i had to type a code into a box. Now i'm sure you're all familiar with this practice, but, What if you're dislexic?

WOW.
Haven't blogged for ages.. Sorry.
BUT tomorrow we are getting the long awaited results of the School Certificate. :) Being a few weeks ago, I'm not really excited to get this glorified piece of paper or two.
Recently I have been gaining weight due to the enormous amount of consuming food within the past week of the 'nothing to do' period since there is nothing to do. So eating and eating and eating has been filling up my stomach and my day to extent that I feel like crap because I've eaten so much. BUT YET I GO AND EAT SOME MORE. And with parents that aren't willing to let me outside of the house unless I'm going to work, or ask dad if he's going to Maitland or Newcastle, I am sitting, mostly in front of a television, eating and eating and eating.
So, until next time I can be bothered to blog.

it's so freaking hot right now

no i'm not talking about jays jays fashions, i'm talking about the weather man!!!
and thats all you can say about weather. just stating what it already is. like small talk at parties "you look nice" "so i see you're drinking vodka" "it's a nice night". i think it'd be cool if someone just came up and said "woah man come here i have a magic carpet! lets blow this popsicle stand and make love in the sky !!!!!! woooooh!!!!".
you know not practical or true but something different.
i made a radio-ish podcast last night and it took 3 hours to mix together 40 minutes worth of me talking, sound effects and hot and happening music. there was a bit where i introduced ramona was a waitress and i stuffed up the title with an infernal speech impediment. so now i'm going to go lie in bath tub of ice with a laptop and try to get that thing online.

hmm when my veiw of the world changes

last night i realised that i cut people off and i really dont know why. its just sometimes i will block people off adn i really shouldnt. i go through periods of time when i will only talk to a select few people and cut everyone else off. i dont really know why i do, i just tend to stay around only the people who make me happy, which isnt really many poeple.
it makes siome people think that i hate them, so i really should talk to all my friends but sometimes when im upset i just dont want to listen to other people complain about their problems. its not really very nice of me cause im supposed to be thier friend buit dont you ever find that when your upset, you cant stand listening to other poeple being upset? its not that they dont have good reasons to be upset, cause some of them do, but when i try to talk to some people about why im upset. all tehy do is turn the conversation intio whats wrong with them, so i never end up talking about whats upsetting me. then they complain that i dont tell anyone anything! i dont tell anyone anything cause people have broken my trust too many times. i dont really trust many people anymore, and they people who complain that ui dont trust them are the ones who broke my trust. its stupid!!!!!!!

bloody mel and grease

hello:)

im here today to complain about melissa who seems to thinkn that grease is better than the matrix. i would much rather watch the matrix than grease considering that grease is old and has john travolta and olivia newton john. its stupid! its the whole reason that high school musical exists. but melissa being the stubborn person she is wont admit im right:P
i watched grease with her yesterday so that she would come to school today but she seems to think that i should watc grease with her today.
i suffered through twenty minutes of grease just for her adn she seems to think that i owe her adn should watch grease...AGAIN!!! it is a lot easier for her to watcht the matrix than it is for me to suffer through grease.!!!
she should just agree with me!

i cant wait to go to st marys!!!!!!!XD io just really wanna get out of st josephs, like theres heaps of stuff im gunna miss like our table, some teachers and the people but im over going to the same place every day for the last four years!!!!im glad lessons have pretty much finished for this year but i kinda wish we could still just come to school and do this pointless stuff like collapsed classes and hanging around. the orientation should be good but im kinda scared to meet new poeple. im happy to meet people no one knows but i scared scared of meeting people my friends are friends with. 7 DAYS TO WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i havn't posted anything in ages.
i'm a little sad. i'm not quite why, i just am.
it feels strange. the world seems a little lack lustre today. like when you buy silver jewelry and realise that underneath it's just copper. it reminds me of being a little depressed girl who wanted to live inside a sno globe. or the fact that one my earliest and most vivid memories from my childhood is being 6 and thinking, there's not much to live for, how do i end this? and the only way 6 year old aprill could think to kill herself was driving a car off a cliff. but then i thought i can't drive and there's no cliffs around here. i guess i'll just have to put up with it.
i find that slightly funny, most people find it morbid and disturbing for a kid to think.

i feel kinda stuck. like i'm hanging around for a bus that never comes. things are ok but they're not great. i guess i just don't feel happy right now.

lately people think i've been taking drugs, it's either i'm on speed or i'm comming down from taking speed. people i'm not taking drugs i'm just not sleeping right.
i havn't been sleeping good for a while now. i'm a bit frustrated with living at home. it's not like my parents are beating me or anything i just think that if i didn't have to i wouldn't live with them. they're so different and i kind of don't fit in within my own family. it feels bad to not like them but there's not much i can do.

this isn't quite the start to summer i was planning you know?

Bandanarama!

 Today was BANDANA DAY!

We all bought bandanas to raise money for cancer research. Amy got a creepy one with faces on it and we worked out who was who and Steffie cut a mouth hole in hers and made a bandana-beard!


We also got some WONDERFUL news which made Bridget and I very very very happy! XD

Seeing Miss Botham's musical tomorrow with Amy, Steffie, Loui and Katrina... It's called Lucky Stiff..... should be lovely.

Ugh! Just realised SCs in a week but I just can't be bothered studying!

For those of us interested in an Ac Cappella group, i have written our first (or whatever number you want) arrangment.

Its full of harmonious clashes, it builds, and goes for 3 mins (I shortened it slightly)

Only Problem:

I think its in six parts :s

But we can sort that out, i think if we double some parts up. Its only a problem cause the song itself has a lot of overlaping sounds.

UP, UP AND AWAY!

Saw UP today, It was lovely but very, very sad!

everything is drving me crazy.

first of all im really annoyed at exams because my dad expects me to be as good as my sister which is stupid because my sister is so much smarter then me and actually likes to study because she has no social life. if i dont do well in these exams im prolly going to get grounded and that means i wont be able to see rohan when i already only get to see him once a week. dad hates it whenever i go anywhere because "i get to see all my friends at school" even though i cant see rohan at school and whenever in pick to see rohan on the weekend instead of my friends my sister will get up me cause im not supposed to pick him over my friends even though i get to see them all week.

secondly im getting really annoyed at people calling each others parents "mum" or "dad". its so stupid. why can some people get to claim to have more than one set of parents just cause they like them better than their own. they should be happy with having one set of parents. and no people dont actually hate their parents, they really would muiss them if they were gone. they just want someone to complain about(i dont mean everyone, there are some exceptions).

thirdly im just really lonely and sick of not having a best friend. ive had two best friends and they both decided to hate me just because i stopped doing everything they wanted and got a personality of my own. nearly everyone else has at least one person they can tell everything too, and i can do that to rohan but i hardly ever get see him.

and fourthly the other day i realised im not actually comfortable around anyone. its kinda a really depressing thought. i dont actually relax around people cause im too scared about what they will think about me.and im absolutly terrified of new people so i hardly ever make new friends.adn now steffie and i are wondering wether its normal?

GAH!
The beloved joys of exams, and collapsed classes of doing nothing is absolutely boring and suck miserablely.
Now, many of the teenagers who are remaining at school are in 216, playing games, studying or are doing nothing.
I don't have much to say. This is all I can think of.

Examinations!

Unfortunately, due to the sadistic nature of our teachers, our end of year exams commenced on the VERY first day back at school. So after two weeks of insanely busy but thoroughly enjoyable holidays, I had to spend the early hours of Monday morning cramming for Australian Geography and PDHPE. Neither of which I actually care about of course but my profound fear of failure does lend itself to panic sometimes... On the whole I think I did okay.... which means I probably failed.

I then had singing, which was really cool because I learnt more of one of my German exam piece and am finally starting to get the technical stuff down.

Then had to briefly visit the DELIGHTFUL Rutherford IGA which i swear boasts the biggest range of condoms in the southern hemisphere!

Spent Monday night sleeping, dying my hair (pic soon) and eating Enchiladas! Yum!

Tuesday I had English and Religion. In English I wrote a story about World of Warcraft Addicts and Religion was cool cause there was a find-a-word! Double English was bludgy so i wrote the guest list out for my party! On Tuesday night my family went to the gym while I crammed for maths. Something I continued until 2:30am!!!

We had our Maths exam this morning and I think I did okay but during the exam someones phone kept going off and they wouldn't let us leave until someone owned up for it. Liam Allen ended up handing himself in, but I think it was Jade. Then we had collapsed classes for 4 & 5 and I drew Louis Armstrong. I went home at lunch and got to sit and watch The Boat That Rocked (which is awesome!!!) while eating REALLY good hamburgers from next door. Was very good after all the stress of Maths.

Then I spent the evening making invites for my after party, which I still don't like, and talking on MSN...



OH AND WATCHING JOHN SAFRAN'S RACE RELATIONS - which was very wrong but very, very funny!



NO SCHOOL TOMORROW! YAY! Elective exams are tomorrow and mine don't have tests this time! So I'm going to either go summer job hunting in Maitland or bake cookies, depending on when i wake up! =P



After that I only have to survive my science exam and I'm done! lol. Can't Wait.

POSTLIMINARY FINAL: haha what a witty title

so this is what happens to young commedians after their biggest gig.
get home, oh oh that was great so exciting i was funny they laugh hahaha-*snore* (wakes up 2 days later) wtf......that was a fucking huge sleep.
so yeh i basically have done nothing over these last two days apart from getting DOUBLE BOOKED for next weekend. it kinda pissed me off. see i'm already in an impro show "halloween improvised" at the maitland rep for the hunter impro network next weekend on the 24th. but then the owner of the greta workers club offered me $100 for a 15 minute comedy/musical performance at their annual dinner. thanks to the law of double booking i had to go with what i said ye to first. being the impro show which i won't get payed for but is always good fun to perform in.
oh and don't forget to check out my other blog which is totally non related to this one.

gaaaaaaah people keep pulling out of the bus come on this isn't some adolscent porn movie. i'm kinda angry cause at least 3 people said they would DEFFINETLY go and then said oh sorry í can't go. so i ended up losing 4 people in total. but it's cool i've still got my best friends comming and thanks to alex i'll look respectable. she persuaded me to wear the sensible gear instead of the outifit that made me look really sexy.
so now i'm a bit calmer just have to do a bunch of prep shit tomorrow which includes cutting my nails and eating kriss's candy.......mmm delicious tradition.

Birds of a feather

hello
so i've been in sydney with alex and i had a lovely time except for traipsing into every freaking shoe store in town :P
today i was organising tickets and the bus for my next stand gig at the roxbury hotel on wednesday. i'm kind of nervous but mostly happy to be out and performing. it is a competition but it's not about winning it's all about the art of performance. i wrote a new joke for the set today, i hope it goes down well with audience. so far everyone i've told likes it.

also today i made a discovery. the saying birds of a feather flock together is superfluous. ALL BIRDS HAVE FEATHERS. therefore it's saying that everyone is the same as everyone else which is so untrue. i have red hair, steffie has black hair. see we are not the same.
so steffie and i are writing a rap about this stupid saying.
stay tuned for it cause now i have to go cook those stupid little pizza things for dinner.

Today I watched Play School and Bob the Builder.
Today I had dim sims for breakfast.
Today I went to Greenhills.
Today I saw a number of people I knew at Greenhills.
Today I played BEJEWELED BLITZ on Facebook. It is the most awesomest game EVER. But I suck at it.
Today I am going for a drive, hopefully, to Singleton with my uncle.
Today I am going to have dinner with my family.
Today my grandma is cooking PRAWNS. :)
Today will be the last day of freedom as from Wednesday onwards I will have to study my butt off for these stupid exams.
Today will be great when it's over.

AT the tender age of 15, Branxton school girl Aprill Miles is about to go where even the most seasoned entertainer would fear to tread.



The year 10 Singleton High School student will take to the stage at Comedy on the Rox in Sydney next month to contest the finals of a stand-up, all-age comedy competition.



Comedy on the Rox is a regular haunt for stand-up comedy greats such as Judith Lucy, Julia Morris and Carl Baron.



Aprill is no stranger to the stage, enjoying theatre work since she was 12.



"Of all the performing arts, stand-up comedy would be the most nerve-racking," Aprill told Herald reporter Donna Sharpe.



" It's an added pressure being funny. You can't hide behind a script, a prop or a guitar. You feel really raw and if people don't like the joke then they pretty much don't like you."



Aprill has always aspired to a career in the performing arts.



"I've had a bit of a talent for making people laugh," she said.



After recently completing a comedy workshop in Newcastle, she received a "highly commended" evaluation.



"That spurred me on and I did some research about competitions and came across Comedy on the Rox," Aprill said.



Aprill travelled to Sydney two weeks ago where she competed in some heats, scored second place and landed herself a spot in the finals.



She lists among her comedy idols Julia Morris, Robin Williams, ventriloquist Nina Conti and Ross Noble.



Aprill said that to prepare for her routines she writes a "skeleton" of what she wants to say.



"When I get on stage, though, my mind is usually pretty blank and I do whatever comes out. Most of it is improvising and pretty much about my life observations and living in Branxton," she said.



"I rip myself off a bit. At 15 you have to be politically correct and can't cover a lot of topics the older people do."

tuesday: it happened on tuesday

Helloo,
well my article didn't come out today and i have bindi sting in my hand from when the photographer from the herald told me to sit down. fuck it hurts.
I had my interview yesterday at recess too and one of the questions i was asked was
"how long have you been standing?" and i said "oh about 10 minutes now"
i know what she meant but i just couldn't help myself. i hope i didn't sound like a complete dick.
you know when you have a real interview you want to sound all deep and meaningful but you can't help being stupidly blunt about everything.

going to the guys madd night tonight. i really want to dress as satan or something.
but i don't know maybe i'll just wear something nice with docs
i'm sure that'll be cool.

Today I say was a wonderful day, a Monday, in which, I had my braces got taken away.
HA. that sentence was SOOO crap. I ate one apple. I'm allowed to chew gum now. :)
Tomorrow is Tuesday, THAT IS, MADD Night. I'm not really excited for that. Only excited to shoot Amy and play Starlight. I think it'll be okay.

Today was pretty crap.. Woke up, had a choc chip muffin, got changed, had some fucking awesome noodles that my grandma made for me, then nothing, played piano, then watched old dancing videos of when I was 7 and then went to work, then back had a shower had dinner and now I'm here and also playing Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook. FUCKING AWESOMEST GAME EVER!!!!!! :) I should also be doing Food Tech homework and practising my speech for the English assignment and writing my short story due AGES ago but I seriously cannot be bothered to do any of that shit.
WOW. next important thing is that:
I'M GETTING MY BRACES OFF TOMORROW. :) No more train tracks for the rest of my life. :) I can't wait.
MADD Night I think will be okay for what we've done but it can be WAY better than what it is now.

Rock and Roll!! the everyday life of a commedian.

So what did i do today?
basically nothing. i woke up at 8 and thought that it was way too early since i had nothing to do today.
so i went back to sleep then got upat 1 and walked out to the loungeroom. dad hired what he usually hires at the video shop one z grade horror movie and a stupid western. so i went back to my room and put on the life of brian. i forgot about some of the stuff in that film:P
then i actually decided to have a shower and get dressed. i was thinking 60's today but i couldn't find a white singlet top to go under my thingy ma giigy i bought in newie.

then i went to make some ramen and the phone rings. martin just says who the fuck is that. somehow the thought came through my head that maybe the person ringing had psychic powers and could have heard it :S so i picked it up expecting it to be for mum or dad or martin. hardly anyone rings for me on the house phone. and no it's for me!
someone who i can't remember the name of from the herald rang me about doing a story on me :)

so now i've got photographers comming tomorrow at 4.30 but i get home at 4.20 so i'll have the most minimal amount of time to get changed and i need to find an empty room to use tomorrow at 11.30 when the herald rings me for some quotes. yeh rock n roll getting interviewed during recess. apart from that i have two two hour tests tomorrow. so no classes and think there's an hour long break between them.

so apart from all that i'm trying to dowload some indian music. i love the colours and music of india. i really like the language too. i might just be a naive foreigner but things about the culture deffinetly interest me. it's one of the places i want to travel to.
India, Greece and Scotland. those are the places i want to go.

anyway i'm being boring. although i do have to say this before i explode. i was watching this doco on yellow stone national park and there was a bit where it showed you a fire that happened because lighting struck some dry pine trees and the narrator was like "fire, destruction" look man if it's not freaking arson then it's not really destruction it's fricking nature. it's just the shit part of cycle.
